Rain blankets the northern half of North Texas today. These storms are what I like to call "heat-o-day-storms". As the sun/heat source goes down for the day, these storms will too. Tomorrow a bit less coverage with only 30% coverage or so. As we head into the overnight hours of Thursday into Friday a cold front will edge close to North Texas and on Friday Morning it should be near the DFW Metroplex. This front will be pretty strong too, knocking us back down into the 60s/low 70s at night and upper 80s/low 90s during the day. By the end on the foreseeable future..still cooler and more rain chances later next week.
